Howard Dully was lobotomized at 12, apparently because his stepmother didn't like him. The above, from lobotomist Walter Freeman's notes supporting the procedure, aptly describes my five-year-old son. He does a good deal of daydreaming and when asked about it he says 'I don't know.' He turns the room's lights on when there is broad sunlight outside.
