johnny ramone
Mr. Ramone's guitar style was basically sui generis, though he did not use those words to describe it; it was "pure, white rock 'n' roll, with no blues influence," he once said. "I wanted our sound to be as original as possible. I stopped listening to everything."

"Pure white"?
I know a lot of punk was about removing the blues element from rock, but does that have some sort of racial thing going on, too? Obviously aside from all the neo-Nazi punks.

Stinkin think'n dude!
Music is culture (duh!), and culture does have somthing to do with ethnicity - deal with it.
Not everything is black and white. And, don't try to PC the blues please.

I think you should stop giving comments on dear old johnny, which gave me a few happy moments in life. Music is about the music, so stop reading da interviews and grab da guitar, m*f*ers
