I wanted it to be public domain. This "Jaleco incident", in fact, is the very reason I wanted to make it FREE (as in public domain) rather than "GPL free" (strings attached). I'm not a fan of the GPL, I think it's selfish. (search froogle for Jajamaru, the game in question)

iChat-> SMS This is not new, but it's a great feature. "Remind me via SMS" should be a default option in iCal. (Of course this feature makes SMS spam across an address book of thousands as simple as 14 lines of Applescript)
