does this mean that Bush's eye is lidless and wreathed in flame?
First go vegan pointed out that Gandalf is anti-death penalty, now the actor playing Aragorn in the Lord of the Ring movies has come out against the U.S.'s pending war on Iraq, comparing the U.S. to Mordor.

Buckethead is somebody too--Ian Mackaye? Henry? Somebody like that.
Also, Viggo explicitly compared Bush to Saruman in the article, not Sauron. His point was more that people come up to him and compare the Fellowship in the movie to the role of the US with the Middle East, when he feels the reverse is actually a more acurate comparison. He doesn't actually state that the US is like Mordor. Minor quibble.

He never actually explicitly says that the U.S. is Mordor, but that's certainly the implication.
You know, the people who are terrified at Helms Deep, who are outnumbered in this incredible violence and desire to control—to destroy—the people of Rohan and the rest of the free peoples of Middle-earth, and to control their wills, to control their infrastructure—or destroy it—that's what we're doing in these countries.

Hmmm, I just read a book where one of those guys I mentioned recorded with someone else under the name Buckethead, or something similar. Maybe it was Mike Watt. The book was "Our Band Could Be Your Life".
Is John Doe going to get a bit part in one of the movies? He's got some acting work under his belt.
