talking to gwen, i remembered how very excellent and pivotal to this blog she was after 9-11.
(it was a weird place to gather. scores of canaries were in cages above our heads. some were pissing on us.)
gwen's concern has always been about the US-centricity of randomWalks. in my own inartful manner, i tried to tell gwen that she should post freely here. that, as with the philippines, posts strictly relating to the UK would be of value to us.
jane die grokked george before i did. george is great. he showed us jpegs of adam and lorraine.
everyone said the tea was fabulous, but mine was gross. i made gwen promise three times to start posting more once she gets back to hungary.
i was under the impression that one of the birds was parading his erection up above our heads. i didn't see it, but then again, how big can a budgie's dick be anyway?
i shall start posting again, but certainly not only on UK stuff. the idea of an anglo-american blog fills me with horror. that would not equal diversity, to my mind. it seems that we, meaning English speakers, only take notice of other places in the world when we're bombing them.
