i don't know the world anymore.
"Quick, what two countries have had a longstanding conflict over the region of Kashmir? Thirty-six percent of the young Americans who answered that question in National Geographic’s recent geography survey got it right. How would you do?
National Geographic commissioned the Roper survey to test the geographic knowledge of 18- to 24-year-olds in Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Sweden, Great Britain, and the United States."
The last time I took geography I was in junior high, I think. So I didn't do so well. You wanna try?

A lot of the country identification ones I got right, but I had to remember back to one of my favorite books from childhood, National Geographic's Our World. (I remember once getting into an argument with my sister who didn't believe me that there was a country called Djibouti.)So, yay for National Geographic.
The questions at the beginning? Didn't do so well.

I got them all, but I admit I had a gimme because I had read d fresh's comments. I would not have gotten that one right on my own -- I thought Islam, not Christianity, had the most followers.

d fresh: I got 19 out of 20, too.
You know which question tripped me up too, right? "That's me in the corner, that's me in the spotlight ..."
