After a lengthy hiatus, I just received a backlog of Glassdog's "Overheard"s. A sample:
For APRIL 17, 2000.The Setting: On the bus
The Players: Two guys in the seat in front of me.
The Witness: I was reading a book.
OVERHEARD:
He said: You ever notice how burnt plastic smells like the monkey's ass?
He answered: No.
He said: Well the other day I was bending a credit card back and forth to break it in half and the smell that came off it and was on my fingers smelled just like the monkey's ass.
He replied: Weird.
